Free Parking in Allentown!

The Allentown Parking Authority offers free convenient parking in center city Allentown, for people who need a place to park while spending the evening at a restaurant, visiting the symphony or museum, or another of the city’s large number of interesting and surprising visual and performing arts venues.

The ‘Farr’ lot, located on N. 8th Street between Hamilton and Linden Streets, is a 110-space parking lot conveniently located near many downtown attractions.

The ‘State’ lot is located on the southeast corner of 6th & Linden and is convenient to many of Allentown’s arts organizations.

These two lots, along with THE SPIRAL DECK—820 Linden Street—are FREE to parkers after 5 p.m. weekdays, and are also FREE all weekend long! Parkers must vacate the premises by 7 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Parkers may also park at meters on City streets after 5 p.m. without inserting coins.

The Allentown Parking Authority has 33 different parking facilities, including five parking decks conveniently located in the downtown area for people who need a place to park while shopping or doing business in downtown Allentown.
